SSL Issues Resolved!

And we’re back! My website provider made a boo-boo. In early May they charged me for 2 more years of SSL certificates, and yes I’m paying them money and not using Let’s Encrypt, so you’d think that would mean superior service or something, but almost 2 months later at the end of June my certificate expired and was NOT auto-renewed. I noticed when I tried to post about storytime and found out that I had no working certificate, which meant that nobody could get to my website – well, they could try, but it redirected HTTP requests to HTTPS, which didn’t work because of the expired certificate. I logged in to my provider and saw that I was up to date with payments, so I figured they’d be renewing the certificate soon.

And of course right about then I went to a convention, and apparently I caught the flu at the convention. So when I was feeling able to do, well just about anything, again, I went to my website … and still no certificate. I managed to figure out how to contact customer service, and they said oops and renewed the certificate. Things seem good now. If you’re reading this, it means I was able to post this message, and you were able to access it.
