My #SissyBabies IRC Channels

I want there to be safe places for sissy adult babies like myself to meet each other. To that end I've created #SissyBabies channels on some IRC networks over the years, and I still spend time on them. I would like there to be certain rules to make sure the channels are enjoyable for all:

The Rules for These Channels

And now for the channels ...

#SissyBabies on EFNet -- R.I.P.

From 1997 to sometime in 2001 there was a #SissyBabies channel on EFNet, the original IRC network. Unfortunately, EFNet's servers all started requiring identd in order for anyone to even connect, which made it impossible for me (or the IRC bot that I used to maintain the channel) to connect.

#DiaperedSissies on Bondage.Com

This channel was once called #SissyBabies like the others, but the Bondage.Com administrators didn't like the name -- it seems they want to avoid having any mention of the word "baby" in the names of their channels. This is sensible, in the sense that they are trying to avoid even the appearance of pedophilia in these paranoid times, but in order for my channel to still exist I had to change it to something that didn't have the word "Babies" in the channel name.

#SissyBabies on DALnet

DALnet has, at time of writing (late 2002), been experiencing numerous Denial of Service (DoS) attacks from anonymous hackers. It would be much easier to chat if these guys would cut it out, but until they do or DALnet finds a way to lock them out, it's really hard to get into DALnet lately. DALnet may have a Java client, but I haven't been able to figure it out, especially with the problems.

#SissyBabies on Webmaster.Com

This one was more recently started, in 2002. I have been chatting in other channels on Webmaster.Com for quite some time, at least since 1996 or so, but finally decided to open a #SissyBabies there, since it didn't look like the EFNet channel was going to reappear and DALnet's DoS troubles became rather permanent-looking.

Other Places to Find Me and Chat

The #wetone and #babyplay channels on Webmaster.Com have been around for quite a while; they're a nice place to play if you're just wanting to be a baby and talk to other adult babies. The focus of #wetone is more toward the DL side and #babyplay is more toward the AB side, but they're not exclusive.

There isn't a nice Java client for it, but the Undernet channel #diapers is a good place to talk about AB/DL issues. Both AB and DL people are welcome.

Although the topic is more about BDSM in general than about AB/DL issues, #ABCs4Newbies on Bondage.Com is a great channel for beginners of all persuasions, or for experienced players who want to share their wisdom or just chat with some nice kinky people.

How to get onto channels that don't have Java clients

The Webmaster.Com and Bondage.Com channels above may have nice Java clients that open right up in your browser. If you have Mozilla or Netscape, you may have ChatZilla, which makes things easy. But what do you do if you're not so privileged? Well, both DALnet and Undernet are real IRC networks and have help pages that will talk you through downloading and installing an IRC client program, which will let you get into any IRC chat room anywhere.
