Joy
The best thing that happened on Saturday was at a gas station. My wife and I actually drove up from Bloomington to near Fort Wayne on Saturday morning, then back down to Indianapolis for the munch, then back down to Bloomington. On the way up that morning, we stopped at a gas station where SR 37 meets I-465, because that's where they have the best gas prices in the region. But as I drove up I saw that hanging in the window of the convenience store was a rack containing giant dollies. Immediately the part of me that's Jennie went, "Ooooooo, big dollies! Want one!" But I restrained myself.

On the way home we got gas at the same place (the tank wasn't empty, but this place had some of the best prices around). I said I wanted to see the big dollies again, and my wife, bless her heart, said I could have one if I did some work on the house that needed to be done before I played with her. And what's more, she went in and bought one for me. I was thinking of going in to get one myself -- I wouldn't have been embarrassed; people would think I was getting it as a gift.

But anyway, I went home and got the work done (short version: we're trying to discourage birds from building nests in our house's bathroom fan and dryer vents) and played with her. She is almost three feet tall and all made of soft fabric! I put a diaper and plastic panties on her that are a bit small for me and they actually kind of fit. Loosely. I have visions of taking her with me everywhere I go along with her diaper bag so I can change her (I would need exactly two diapers for this; it's not as if she really wets) and feed her bottles and stuff, but that's not really going to happen. Anyway, Jennie wells up within me with such joy that I just had to call the new doll Joy. I should take a picture of Jennie and Joy sometime, to share the joy with you.

Sparse munch
I'm probably going to sound kind of negative about the munch on Saturday. If so, that's because several negative things happened. Some might say that I shouldn't talk about things like this in public if I ever want people to come to munches. Well, this weblog is for me to post my real thoughts in public, and I'm not going to censor it. I would like to think that people would appreciate honesty over everything else. I just hope you don't try to read between the lines and find things that aren't here, because I'm not writing between the lines.

We got six people at the munch. Now, one of those was my wife, who came because we had to be on the road that day for other errands, and it was easier (and, with gas prices, less expensive) for her to come to the munch than for me to drive her all the way home and come back. Lynnette was there too, and to be honest, part (though not all or even necessarily most) of the reason she comes is because her business has to do with ABs and DLs. She brought a friend of hers as well. The pessimistic conclusion is that, other than myself, two people came only because they wanted to come meet and talk to other AB/DLs. And one of them came right at the end (to be fair to him, he said that he had been having troubles in his life that he didn't specify, but I totally believe him). Not a very good turnout.

To make matters worse, Lynnette said that an AB who has come to many munches before (we'll call him A) may never be coming to another one. This is, she said, because he didn't feel included at the last one. She also said that another person (like me, he's from Bloomington, and I talk to him outside these munches; we'll call him B) had been talking to A about a picnic we're trying to have in June, and B made it sound as if we didn't really want to have the picnic because "we were trying to keep things centralized" (Lynnette's words -- they're third-hand, I know, and with you reading them that makes it a fourth-hand account). I know both these people, and I can and will send them email, and I also know that Lynnette has a tendency to make mountains out of molehills, but the point is that I don't have the energy or time for this. I may need to make it more clear that I am not the "leader" of this "organization," because it isn't an organization and I'm not leading. Sorry.

Lynnette also wants to stop being the one to deal with the auctions we have. I'm not going to explain them here; they're just an event that happens at parties when they are held, and Lynnette has been in charge of them in the past, and now she wants me to run them. But I don't have time, energy or money to do more than I do now, so I think they auctions may just cease to happen. I would much rather see something less organized happen, like people just bringing things to trade or sell. I don't think centralized authority is necessary, always or even usually.

No, I have no interest in being more than a facilitator; I just want people to know that I'm an AB and a DL and will be at Ryan's on Shadeland in Indy at 2 pm on the third Saturday of every month, and I invite other ABs and DLs, as well as other interested parties, to join me and meet each other. That's all. No complications.

Babykins' new site
Turns out that Babykins has a new site. The nighties that someone mentioned to me still don't appear to be listed on this site, but I have a catalog in which some nightshirt type things are listed. They're not really what I'm looking for, though they wouldn't be too bad in baby prints. (I updated the link on my links page.)

Bojay CD!
Well, my copy of the Bojay's Time Warp CD arrived. If you're worrying about how it appears in the mail, it's in a plain padded manila envelope with a return address from Bojay Productions, no logos or graphics. The CD was in a slim jewel case (which was the only thing inside the envelope); the case has the Time Warp label that you can see at the above link. The CD itself is just a 700MB CD-R with no writing or label on it. I should write on it so I don't lose track of which CD it is.

In terms of content, there is between 100MB and 150 MB on the disk, most of which is devoted to the AB girl drawings from Adult Baby Source. There is a folder dedicated to Rita, who was a model for a number of Bojay's illustrations and is sadly no longer with us. I found that very touching. There are a lot of Bojay's unfinished drawings and sketches; you can see how he works and how he puts together some of his finished pictures. But there are also many previously unseen drawings, all of which are wonderful in my book; he clearly really enjoys age-regression scenarios and has an amazing amount of artistic talent, which he turns to depicting such scenarios in beautiful detail.

Oh, what might we see if Bojay were paired with a talented comic writer? One can only imagine how amazing it could be. But I urge people who like this type of art to support him by buying this CD and hopefully others like it that will exist in the future. The furry community has a lot of artists, who can make some money by doing commissioned art of others' furry characters; why can't the ABs and DLs? Most of us don't really have a "character" we play, but we still like to look at pretty pictures!

As an aside -- in case you didn't know, some of the furries are ABs and/or DLs too! Furry cubs are adorable! Check out OBC: the Online Babyfur Community, Cub Central, and Online Cubs for places to get in touch, and for some babyfur art see Karis' Playground, Marci McAdam Illustrations, Acco "Jade" Rowanurth's Art, and FangKit's Pics, to name a few. And above all, don't forget Proxima's Nursery Tails!

Fetware added to links
I just realized that Fetware had never been added to my links list. I have just added it. They have some nice diapers, plastic panties, mattress protectors and other interesting plastic and rubber clothing. They have locking plastic panties too.

DPF working on it
Over on the DPF Links page, my web page is still listed under the old address, which doesn't work anymore so I won't bother mentioning it here. But I've asked Tommy about it since I renewed my membership, and he said he'd fix it. I hope he does soon!

Nighties answers so far
Well, so far I've heard from AB Outfitter and AB Nursery Thailand, both of which will make custom AB clothes, and from someone who recommended Babykins, who has an outfit that may be what I'm looking for but isn't on their web page. I just got a catalog from them; I should look through it.

Baby nighties
OK, so the weather's starting to get warmer, and on nights when I'm "sleeping like a baby" it's too hot to wear footie jammies anymore. I'm looking for a nice baby girl looking nightie, one that isn't too long. I'm not finding much on ebay, but over on ForeverAKid I found this page, with some cute baby doll pajamas and a cute nightie too. I wonder if anybody out there can recommend somewhere that makes a good summer nightie that says "baby girl" all over it?

Bojay's Time Warp CD
Well, I've ordered the Bojay's Time Warp CD, because I've been a huge fan of Bojay's art for several years. I'd say that he should draw for Disney, except Disney isn't as good. I'll tell you about the CD when it arrives. It's supposed to be full of his age-regression (and related subjects) art, including previously unreleased drawings and sketches. For now, here are some publicly-posted examples of Bojay's awesomeness.
