Renewed with DPF
I'd let my DPF membership lapse for a while, and to tell the truth I hadn't really been missing it. But I was recently asked whether my page was on the DPF links list (it used to be) and I didn't know. So I checked, and it's still there, though under the old address. Oddly, it says that it was OK the last time it was tested, which was in January, but I thought the old site was down.
Anyway, I renewed my subscription today, so eventually I'll be able to fix up that entry in their links. And the "live rating" thing on my home page should work again. All part of my master plan to get more readers to my page, I suppose.

Well, I just submitted my site to jane's guide. I hope they review me impartially, but they do seem to be pretty good with that. They warn that it can take up to 3 months to get back to you, so it might be a while. Meanwhile ... time for bed. Not feeling diaperish tonight. I did add a link to Ab-Shopping.com on the links page.

Was Brooke Shields the Gerber baby?
I'd heard that Brooke Shields was the original model for the Gerber baby logo. But I guess that's not true, especially since it turns out that they started using that logo in 1931. It's not Humphrey Bogart, either.
Since Brooke Shields and the Gerber baby came up in conversation, I've been wondering where that came from. How did that get into my head? Well, snopes.com has helped a little with that. It turns out that Brooke Shields did appear in some Ivory Snow ads when she was a baby, though she never appeared on the box. Porn star Marilyn Chambers did, though -- but not as the baby.

Munch results
It's actually a week and a couple days after the munch. I just wanted to say that we got 6 people, but we were minus Lynnette (and she usually brings one person along with her).
The reason we were minus Lynnette had to do with her health, and I don't want to go into detail here, respecting her privacy, but I really hope she gets better soon!
She's going to stop having her first-Saturday-of-the-month munches now that the weather is warmer and there aren't likely to be bad road conditions. Looks like she's still planning to have a picnic at the beginning of June though. Her munch site has been updated.
I was diapered a lot last weekend -- this weekend it was just last night. I was feeling agitated; the air conditioner wasn't working and we were going to have to call a repairman. Being in diapers and sucking my pacifier really helped me. It's good that I have this refuge to go to when I need it.

Upcoming munch
Wow, it's already almost time for another AB/DL munch! I actually sent out email about this time instead of just letting the automatic posts to the Yahoo groups handle it.
Been kind of depressed lately. As in, for the last couple of months. Maybe it's seasonal. My mood does seem to be improving now that the weather's getting better. I was also not talking to anybody, feeling lonely, getting more depressed, talking to people even less, feeling more lonely, etc. But now I'm talking to people more. I know that isolating myself will only make myself feel worse, so I'd better stop doing it.
I'm starting to feel as if I'm in more of a diaperish mood, finally. I spent most of the weekend in diapers, and was diapered last night. I'm actually about to run out of disposables again, so I've ordered some more. I really like these Wellness diapers that Sally sells -- she has a new web site because her old provider went out of business. She doesn't have the most convenient ordering procedure ever, but she's really nice and actually wears diapers. Her prices aren't bad, either.
