Oh! My scrambled memory has dredged up something else I wanted to say -- last weekend at the SCA event I saw a woman in footed pajamas. I only saw her for one dance, and I couldn't talk to her because I had to stay and play music, but I doubt she was an AB or any such thing -- it was just odd that she was dancing in footed jammies while everyone else was in their SCA garb. I guess she came down from her hotel room, where she was all ready for bed, but decided to check out the dancing.

Well here's another Tuesday and another update. Shouldn't I be doing these more often? Maybe, if I felt more ABish than I do. I've still got the aftereffects of that cold. My nose is still irritated and dry. Maybe I need to set up the humidifier, because the air is really dry, and that's probably not helping. I'm still getting congested and blowing my nose a lot, and I'm still getting thirsty and drinking lots of water. That would mean a lot of diaper changes if I were using diapers right now. And I can't change my diapers easily at work.
Had a lot of fun playing music in Shampoo-Banana last weekend. I love it! But we got back really late. It was after 4 am when I went to bed.

Sorry I haven't been blogging for a few days -- there is, as usual, a lot going on, and not much of it AB-related. There was the munch on Saturday. 7 people came. It was cool. Bob ordered some NUK Medic Pro (large size) pacifiers from Germany, and they arrived. He was selling them at cost for $12 apiece. I'm a big fan of these. I bought one, so now I have two. Lynnette bought something like 3. Lynnette is talking about having an Easter egg hunt in early May and a party in a Muncie public park (no baby clothes, though diapers under clothes would be fine, of course) in June.
Been very busy with Headspace's workshop on Saturday featuring Jack Rinella. Unfortunately I'm going to be out of town playing music that day, but I still have to keep the web page up to date and send out email announcements and all that!

Ugh. I have a cold and have had it since Monday. At least it's not as bad now as it was then. No fun.
I emailed Andy Schatzburg, the producer of the HBO Real Sex segment about Adult Babies that several others and I were filmed for back in August, and he said that the episode containing the segment wouldn't air until October or November, 2004. Why is it being pushed back so far? Only HBO knows, I guess.
I discovered today that my dynamic links page had somehow been reverted to an earlier version and wasn't reading the database anymore. Perhaps the Web provider had a disk crash and restored from backup without telling me, or perhaps they told me and I didn't handle things right. I don't know how long it's been that way, though. I had a backup, fortunately. I've added a few links. I should run the link checker.

Well, Yahoo Messenger is hosed again, so I can't talk to anybody on there ... Shelley, Kimmie, Natalie, Sally; I hope you look at this every so often. Yahoo changed their protocol yet again, and I don't think it's so much that they are trying to destroy third-party clients like gaim and Trillian, because this also means that Yahoo Messenger for Unix doesn't work either now. It's more like Yahoo doesn't care about you if you don't use Windows. Well, people are at work on fixing this, so it'll only be a matter of time.
I'm trying out those Wellness diapers I got from Sally. They're very absorbent, all right. We'll see if they can last through the whole day. They sure work for nights! Of course, I don't sleep on my side. That's supposedly a big problem with all disposables, even those with padding in the "wings." Wellness diapers don't have very good "wing padding," by the way.

And just as you'd expect, the very day that I complain in my blog that my diapers aren't here is the day that I get home and find out that they arrived. Thanks, Sally! I compared the Wellness diapers that were part of my order with some European diapers I have lying around, thinking that they might be some of these under another name, but no, it turns out I've never seen these before. I tried one, though, and they're nice and thick and very absorbent indeed. I'm going to keep testing, and I'm going to have fun doing it. 8:-)

... aaaaaaaand I just figured out why I probably haven't heard from Natalie or Sally since then; my Yahoo Messenger (actually gaim) was misconfigured. It's fixed now.

Sally told me about ID Slip diapers, which are sold in the US as Eurobriefs, as well as another brand name called Wellness, which she said was made by the same people as ID Slip. Apparently these diapers are even more absorbent than even AbriForm X-Plus, so I'm buying some of each to try them out. I'll let you know. They haven't arrived yet.
