Well I've been busy for a couple days again. The potluck went fine. There were 12 there other than Lynnette and myself, and her family members all stayed away. But it was pretty fun. The auction went well. Except I'm stuck with a stuffed bunny rabbit that was won by somebody who had already left. The bunny will be going to munches with me until her owner shows up to take her home. I was dressed in my diapers, plastic panties, tights, anklets, Mary Jane shoes, play dress, wig and bonnet. Got a couple pictures taken of me too. But I forgot my earring and bracelet, and my dolly Amelia.
I got three mosquito bites, two of them on my face! And these mosquitos' bites leave big red blotches on my skin for a few days! This is embarrassing, having this big red spot between my eyebrows.
I got my page changed back to regular Munch mode today. And I removed a reference to BDSM that I had on the HoosierHighChair page, by Lynnette's request. I guess some ABs are afraid of people who do SM, and since that page links to Lynnette's own stuff, she's afraid it will hurt her business. Well, since that page is in space donated by Lynnette, she gets to say what goes on it and what doesn't. But it makes me wonder whether the Hoosier High Chair stuff shouldn't be on my web space, now that I have a lot of it.
I try so hard to unite people, bring people together, when we're all in the same boat. It doesn't matter whether you like whips and chains or diapers and bibs -- the majority of people think you are weird, and people fear what's different and hate what they fear. Whether you know it or not there is enormous opposition mounted up against you, and you don't have the kind of infrastructure that the homosexual community has after decades of working against this very same kind of fear. And I want to help. And the suggestion that this idea of mine that we should pull together is wrong, just because there are a few scared people out there, is ... insulting. If you're scared, go ahead and be scared. But if you want to be useful, let's present a front of unity and show them that we have the right to exist.
After the potluck I drove back to town and got in around 10:30 to see what few of the folks were still up. I saw MsLissa, darius, RufRider and silverleaf again, and I got to meet oraedent1 and SirInnocence. I got dressed back up in my AB clothes, except for the tights; that was fun. Then I drove home like that. It was dark. Nobody could see me.
There's still the presentation on Thursday. Owie. And TJ's birthday.
