Thoughts and events from non-famous non-celebrity big little person LilJennie

Hi! We got a lot of people at the munch last night. There were at least 14. It was largely due to the fact that MsLissa came and brought a bunch of friends who happened to be visiting from out of town this week. There was one new person as well who was unrelated to that.

Now we have to worry about the presentation next week. I made up an outline and sent it off, trying to get the ball rolling. This ball is really hard to get rolling now that TJ isn't the primary impetus behind the group! Some of that could be because she was the primary impetus behind the group and people got used to that. Well I'm not going to do the same thing, because I'm not TJ.

Getting ready for the potluck Saturday ... the car's radiator is still leaking, despite all the stop-leak I've put in it. I'm going to have to get it fixed. As if I have time for that. Anyway, people have spoken up for most things except for utensils, cups, plates, and napkins -- and side dishes. We've got people bringing two kinds of salads and nobody bringing any other kind of side dish. What about people who hate salads (watch Jennie as she points at herself)? I guess I'll have to bring my own. And one person just wanted me to assign him to bring something, so I did. I hope he brings plates and napkins, because if he doesn't we won't have any.

I've been obsessing about this number puzzle. Write down a four-digit number. (It helps if all four digits aren't the same.) Now scramble the digits so you have another four-digit number. Now subtract the two four-digit numbers (the smaller one from the larger one) so you have a third number, the difference. Pick one of the digits of the difference you just got, and circle it. Then tell me the other numbers, the ones that you didn't circle. I can tell you the number you circled. Cool, huh? Did you know that the final digit sum of any integer gives you the remainder you would get if you divided that number by 9? Why is that? I want to know!

And I still have to somehow prepare for D&D on Sunday. And my wife wants the house vacuumed and the lawn mowed. And after the potluck there's another party that I want to go to -- with MsLissa's friends from out of town who don't gather here very often, though I see them online a lot. There just aren't enough hours in the day. But soon the potluck will be over, and soon the SM101 presentation will be over, and soon TJ's birthday will be over (I ordered her some presents).
